Rules
Finisher requirements and challenge rules.
Complete your route safely, track with WayMe, and follow the eligibility requirements below to qualify for your finisher medal, e-certificate and leaderboard recognition.
How are route champions ranked?
Each route leaderboard is ranked by the fastest valid WayMe-tracked completion recorded during the challenge period. If you attempt the same route more than once, your fastest valid time is used.
How does the Grand Slam leaderboard work?
The Grand Slam rewards breadth first: participants with more distinct Moon Walk routes completed rank above those with fewer. Among participants with the same number of completed routes, the lowest combined best times rank higher.
Are multiple attempts per route allowed?
Yes. You may attempt the same registered route multiple times during the event period. Your fastest valid completion counts for the route leaderboard, and the HK$88 route entry covers those repeat attempts on that same route.
Do I have to race?
No. This event is meant to be a relaxed Mid-Autumn walk. Feel free to ignore the leaderboards, walk at whatever pace suits you, and rest assured—there is no time limit. Everyone who completes the registered route will receive a finisher’s medal.
What safety rules apply?
Participants are responsible for their own safety, weather judgment, hydration, transport and route readiness. Use common sense, follow local regulations and instructions, and do not continue if conditions feel unsafe. WayMe supports route navigation and tracking, but it does not replace personal judgment.
How do I collect my medal?
